We hit up the local bar scene to ring in the New Year!

Practice

We rented the field at Happy Dog to get in some last-minute practice before our trial this weekend. I took it easy due to the recent surgery. The dogs had fun.

Appendicitis

Two words. Not fun. But I survived after getting my appendix removed and then having a hospital stay. My advice is avoided it if all possible.

Happy First Birthday Salty!

He was not a planned addition to my dog family, but I'm so glad he joined us!

He looks extra cute in his party hat! The other dogs in the photo are from Kip and Dottie's agility class.  Salty also had class today but only one puppy showed up and he didn't want to wear a hat. I took a nice video of Salty running a little course but I deleted it before I could post it.

Good Dogs

My dogs being good dogs. Salty attempting to perfect his Kip sleeping impersonation, and Kip deciding to lay on the arm of the couch with his ball. I don't think Dottie thinks very highly of Kip's new spot. (Judging by her expression at least.)

Well I'm recovering I mostly stuck at home so I've been taking lots of pictures of the dogs.

He may be getting older, but I don't think he will ever grow up! We celebrated with Frosty Paws, ice cream made special for dogs. But only four came in a pack so the poodles had to share. Then Fancy decided she didn't want all of hers, so that helped.

All Done

I'm recovering at my lovely / loving parents' house. Both the house and my parents are  lovely but I believe only my parents are loving. Kind of an odd sentence. We will blame the pain and medication.
